Manning's, a Harrah’s New Orleans restaurant partner, is located conveniently in New Orleans’ Warehouse District, paying homage to the area's unique architecture and reflect the city's "Laissez les bons temps rouler" attitude. This New Orleans restaurant boasts more than 30 flat screen TVs, including a 13’x7.5’ mega-screen, a sports anchor desk, unique memorabilia from Louisiana's first football family, commissioned artwork by New Orleans artist Terrance Osborne and more!

Archie Manning

When people think of Archie Manning, they think football. But Archie’s appeal transcends his athletic achievements. People far and wide have been inspired by his warm personality, his drive and sense of humor.

Archie was born May 19, 1949, in Drew, Mississippi. He attended the University of Mississippi where he was named an All-American Quarterback and his number is retired. He was voted Mississippi’s Greatest All-Time Athlete in 1992, and was named Mississippi’s Most Popular Athlete of the Century. He was elected to the 50-Year All-South Team (1940-1990), named one of the Top 25 Athletes of the Century in Louisiana and he and his son Peyton were named among the 100 All-Time Greatest College Football Players. Archie was inducted into the National Football Foundation College Hall of Fame and is a member of other Halls of Fame including Louisiana and Mississippi.

In 1971, Archie was the second player chosen in the NFL draft – the number one draft choice of the New Orleans Saints. He set Saints passing records, played in two Pro Bowls and was named the NFC Most Valuable Player in 1978. He was the first player in Saints history to be inducted into the Louisiana Superdome Wall of Fame. He concluded his 15-year career in 1985. He was also drafted four times by major league baseball.

Chef Larry Abrams

Chef Lawrence Abrams always knew he would pursue a career that required the use of his hands, but using them for cooking wasn’t exactly what he had in mind. The San Diego native initially planned to follow his father’s lead and become a doctor. Six months as a biology major at the University of Massachusetts Amherst changed those plans. Abrams knew medicine wasn’t for him, so he looked into culinary arts instead.

In 1998 Chef Abrams began his training with an internship at Georges Blanc in France. In 2000 he completed a six-month externship in NOLA in New Orleans and in May of 2001 received his degree from the Culinary Institute of America. Chef Abrams then went to work in New Orleans at the Windsor Court Hotel as a second level cook. In 2002 Chef Abrams and his bride returned to sunny California where he served as Sous Chef for FRESH Seafood Bar and Restaurant in La Jolla followed by Oceanaire in the Gaslamp Quarter. After a little stint at Bar West in the Pacific Beach area, Chef Abrams was able to obtain a job at the exclusive Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club where he became executive chef and food and beverage director. During this tenure Chef Abrams traveled to San Sebastian, Spain to work with Three Start Michelin Chef Juan Marie Arzak at Restaurant Arzak. After this Chef Abrams and his wife decided to move back to New Orleans, joining Commanders Palace as a Sous Chef. He began re honing his skills with Cajun/Creole cuisine.

In 2013 Chef Abrams joined Manning’s as the Executive Chef. He enjoys being able to combine his love of the culinary arts, sports, and most importantly family.

Chef Abrams is a proud father of three, Josephine, Julian, and Haley, and last but not least the love of his life is his wife Jennifer. Also part of the family is his pet teacup poodle named George.
