HARRAH’S FOUNDATION The Harrah’s Foundation is a separate nonprofit entity within Harrah’s Entertainment that provides financial support to qualifying nonprofit organizations who promote diversity and inclusion in their endeavors. Harrah’s New Orleans submits grant requests to the Harrah's Foundation on a quarterly basis. Recipients of Harrah’s Foundation Grants include: New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation Urban League of Greater New Orleans National World War II Museum Greater N.O. Ed. Television Foundation (WYES-TV) Community Center of St. Bernard French Quarter Festival Carnivale Latino

COMMUNITY SUPPORT GRANTS The New Orleans City Council / Harrah’s New Orleans Casino Community Support Grant Program (formerly known as COPE Grants) provides grant support to local organizations and projects that contribute substantially to the well being, development and growth of the New Orleans community. The program is intended to be broad-based and to foster a diversity of meritorious organizations and projects. Requests are submitted to an individual Councilmember’s office. For further information contact any New Orleans City Councilmember’s office or Harrah’s New Orleans Community Relations. COMMUNITY SUPPORT GRANT APPLICATION FORM VOLUNTEERING H.E.R.O. (Harrah’s Entertainment Reaching Out) is an employee-based volunteer program. Volunteers make noteworthy, visible contributions to the community by devoting their time, skills, expertise and dedication to helping others. By actively participating in charitable and civic events, the H.E.R.O. team demonstrates that Harrah’s employees make a positive, real impact in our communities. Harrah’s New Orleans HERO Projects include: KaBoom Playgrounds at Behrman Elementary at East Jefferson YMCA Young Leadership Council (YLC) Wednesdays at the Square Boys Town of Louisiana Junior Achievement’s NOPS K-8 Initiative Painting at Charles Drew and Joseph Craig Elementary Schools
